About Hexarelin

Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide GHRP and among the most potent GH secretagogues in the research peptide class. Structurally related to GHRP-6 but significantly more potent on a molar basis, Hexarelin produces the largest GH pulses of the GHRP family while maintaining a well-characterised pre-clinical safety profile. Beyond its GH-releasing activity, Hexarelin has become particularly significant in cardiac research: studies have identified specific binding sites for Hexarelin in cardiac tissue independent of its pituitary GH effects, and pre-clinical models have demonstrated cardioprotective properties including improved myocardial function, protection against ischaemia-reperfusion injury, and attenuation of diastolic dysfunction. This dual pharmacology — GH axis modulation plus direct cardiac receptor activity — makes Hexarelin uniquely valuable in cardiovascular regeneration research. Research has also investigated its role in GH-deficient models, visceral adiposity, and metabolic regulation. Note that desensitisation occurs with repeated administration, a factor researchers account for in pulsatile dosing protocols. Supplied at ≥99% HPLC purity.

Usage Guidelines

✓ Suitable For

  • Premier compound for cardiac tissue protection and ischaemia-reperfusion research
  • Potent GH secretagogue — suitable for high-response GH pulse studies
  • Valuable in dual cardiac and GH axis pharmacology investigations
  • Useful for comparative potency research within the GHRP family

✗ Not Recommended For

  • Design pulsatile protocols to account for receptor desensitisation with repeated administration
  • Not for use without professional research supervision — high potency requires careful dosing
  • Individuals with cardiac conditions should seek medical guidance before research involvement
  • Not intended for human therapeutic application outside approved clinical settings
